Dream Tile just gave a Chipping Norton home a brilliant refresh. We worked with Silver Travertine floor tiles and timeless Carrara marble mosaic wall tiles. The outcome is a home that’s not only good-looking but also built to handle everyday family chaos. The fresh floors and walls tie everything together, flowing smoothly from the living area all the way to the balcony.
Project Overview
We worked with the homeowner to upgrade their main living areas. The plan was to use top-quality tiles that look amazing and are also very practical. We chose a mix of large travertine tiles for living rooms and a special hexagon marble mosaic feature wall. Our main goal was to create a cohesive, low-maintenance home that feels modern and welcoming.
Design & Execution
Living Room Floors
We laid down large Silver Travertine floor tiles. Their big size means there are very few grout lines. This gives the room a lovely smooth and modern look. The gentle grey colour goes perfectly with a light and bright interior. But it’s not just about looks. These tiles are also scratch-resistant and a breeze to clean. This is so important for a busy room with kids and pets.
Balcony Flooring
We really wanted the balcony to feel like a natural part of the home. So we chose the same stylish tile, but in a special non-slip outdoor travertine tile version. It was a simple but clever idea. Now the inside and outside spaces connect perfectly. These tiles are tough too. They can take full sun, heavy rain, and whatever else the Aussie weather serves up.
Bathroom Walls & Floors
For the bathroom walls and floor, we used a smaller version of the same travertine bathroom tiles. This created a clean and simple look that is very calming. The tiles are completely waterproof and resist mould. This makes them ideal for a steamy bathroom. Keeping them clean is also very easy.
Bathroom Feature Wall
Every room deserves a bit of wow factor. In the bathroom, that came from gorgeous Carrara marble hexagon mosaic tiles. We laid them in a clever bathroom feature wall design. It gives the space a real sense of personality and elegance. The matte finish adds a soft touch and cuts down on glare, which just pulls the whole room together.
Results
The home now feels incredibly unified and stylish. The colour scheme ties every room together beautifully.
The new tiles are as practical as they are pretty. The living room handles heavy daily use. The balcony stands up to the harsh elements. The bathroom stays hygienic and safe. It’s a win all round.
